Sketches and Paintings

I wanted to express how women usually feel compelled to stay silent or mute when it comes to conversations with men at times. The art is based off of an album cover and depicts a doll that lost part of its face where the mouth would be.

I wanted to play around with pen and charcoal to imitate the fleetingness of death. What inspired me were the stickers available to me at the time, and I love collecting stickers. This uses imagery related to death such as the moth and the spider lily.
